The State Duma ratified the Treaty between Russia and Serbia on social security

The ratification of the treaty will allow solving the issues of pension provision for citizens of both countries that live on their territories

The treaty provides for the granting of the right to receive old-age pensions, disability or survivors' insurance pensions, cumulative part of pensions and payments from pension savings, as well as social pensions to those Russian citizens who live in the Republic of Serbia and citizens of the Republic of Serbia who reside on the Russian territory.

According to the Treaty, an allowance on the grounds of an accident at work or a professional disease is prescribed and paid by the country which legislation was extended to the insured person at the time of injury, and if the disease is diagnosed on the territory of another contracting state.
