On May 6 the football match between the teams of the State Duma and the Bundestag began with a minute of silence to commemorate more than 40 people who died in a plane crash at Sheremetyevo. Both teams came out with mourning black bands.

discusses with colleagues from the Bundestag. At the end of the visit, a football
match between teams of Russian and German parliamentarians was held. The previous friendly match between the State Duma and the Bundestag was held in Moscow at the Krasnaya Presnya stadium in 2018.
