He said this at the 66th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia in Minsk.

“Just look what Washington and Brussels are doing! Just recently we, our delegations from Russia and Belarus, were expected to take part in the OSCE PA session in Romania. They refused to issue visas, although they had to do that. Why? They are afraid of truth, they are afraid of negotiations, they do not want to build a dialogue. At the same time, they are throwing dirt at us,” he said.

According to the Chairman of the State Duma, “there is no more democracy in Europe, as it is under the thumb of the United States of America.” “And in the USA, it does not exist, by definition, because there is no competition between parties or direct presidential elections,” added Vyacheslav Volodin.
