Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast) as head of the Russian parliamentary delegation arrived in the People’s Republic of China for an official visit at the invitation of the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji.

The official visit schedules several bilateral meetings and the 10th meeting of the Commission on Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National People's Congress of China.

Earlier, Vyacheslav Volodin posted on his MAX channel, that the agenda includes:

- countering sanctions pressure and foreign interference;

- enhancing trade and economic cooperation;

- historical truth protection;

- youth exchanges to strengthen humanitarian cooperation.

“Our country’s relationship with China is built on the principles of friendship and trust, mutually beneficial cooperation and non-interference in the affairs of sovereign states, as well as the absence of double standards,” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.
