The State Duma ratified the Agreement between the Russian Federation and Nicaragua on the mutual protection of citizens from abuse in the field of international justice. The document was signed in St. Petersburg on June 20, 2025.
The agreement is aimed at constructive cooperation to protect citizens of the two countries and guarantee their rights and freedoms. It provides that the parties undertake to refrain from interfering in each other's sovereign affairs through international or national criminal justice or assisting a third party in using international or national criminal justice.
