Factions were created by political parties elected to the State Duma of the 9th convocation
At the first plenary meeting, the State Duma of the ninth convocation considered an issue of creating factions.
The political parties elected to the State Duma proposed to create five factions:
- United Russia, consists of 350 members. Leader of the faction – Dmitry Kobylkin
Dmitry Nikolaevich . - CPRF, consists of 37 members. Leader of the faction – Gennady Zyuganov
Gennady Andreyevich . - LDPR, consists of 24 members. Leader of the faction – Leonid Slutsky
Leonid Eduardovich . - New people, consists of 20 members. Leader of the faction – Alexey Nechaev
Alexey Gennadievich . - A Just Russia, consists of 17 members. Leader of the faction – Sergey Mironov
