Russian parliamentarians left Georgian parliament because of the seizure of its building by radicals

Chairman of the Committee on Issues of Public Associations and Religious Organizations, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy Sergei Gavrilov informed that the parliament building was seized by radicals, and therefore the IAO parliamentarians left the Georgian parliament building under protection

State Duma approved the law on ratification of the Treaty on the Basics of Relations with the Commonwealth of Dominica

The Duma considered the issue of a draft federal law “On ratification of the Treaty on the Basics of Relations between the Russian Federation and the Commonwealth of Dominica”. Member of the Committee on International Affairs Iurii Levitskii noted that this bilateral Treaty is among the basic ones defining the legal basis of relations between our states. Dominica is a full member of the United Nations and a lot of international and regional organizations that are very important to Russia

Leonid Slutskiy: new JIT accusations on the MH17 do not withstand any criticism

Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutskiy commented on accusations of the Joint Investigations Team in relation to the MH17 disaster in Donbass in summer 2014. He noted that “the purpose of this so-called “investigation” is not to establish the truth but to slander Russia in any possible way. It is unworthy and low in relation to the memory of the victims of the disaster and the grief of their loved ones”
